To bulk edit the time logs, you need to go to the Detailed view.

Once you select multiple logs, the bulk actions will appear on top:

You can multi-select individual logs or use the 'Select all' function to select all logs on your page. At the bottom, you can change the number of items shown on the page (20, 50, or 100 time logs).

Before selecting all, you can use the date range selector and the filters to display only those logs that need editing.

Upon selecting the entries and clicking the 'Bulk edit' button, the bulk edit form will appear:

The input fields that are left empty, will not change the selected time logs. For example, if you only add a tag in the bulk edit form and do not change any other fields, all other information on the time logs will remain the same.

If you leave the 'Billable log' section set to the 'No change' option, this means that the previously billable logs will remain billable, and the previously non-billable logs will remain non-billable. If you change this setting, all logs will be updated to the new billable setting.

If you change the Client & Project, this information will be updated on all selected logs. If logs have had Tasks assigned and you changed the Client & Project input, the task information will be removed and you will need to select the Task again in the form. This is because you now need to select one of the tasks from the newly selected Project.

*** If you wish to retain Task information on the logs, we recommend bulk editing the logs in batches of logs that have the same task assigned. You can filter out such logs, and then edit their Client & Project and Task fields.

If you change the description or the date, all logs will be updated with the new information.

Please note that you can't bulk edit time logs that are locked, approved, or invoiced. Such logs will have a lock icon displayed here:

If you put your mouse cursor over the lock icon, you will see the reason for the time log being locked. To be able to bulk edit invoiced entries, you need to delete the related invoice draft/invoice first. To bulk edit entries that are in a locked period, you need to turn off the period locking setting. To bulk edit previously approved entries, you need to bulk reject them first. Then you will be able to bulk edit them and bulk approve again after the edits are completed.
