Updated rates are never applied to locked, invoiced, or approved time logs.
Here's how to arrange this if you need to >>>
When updating the billing and labor rates to a new value, you have the option to apply the new rate to:
New & existing logs: The new rate will be used for all future logs and for all past logs that are not locked, invoiced, or approved.
New logs only: The new rate will be used only on time logs entered after the rate update.
Logs created from a certain date onward: The new rate will be used on all time logs added after the selected date. If the selected date is in the past, the new rate will be applied to existing logs added after the selected date that are not locked, invoiced, or approved.
Changing the billing method (switching between project-based, user-based, and task-based rates) will update billing rates on all unlocked logs.
Locked logs (invoiced, approved, or in a locked period) will keep their current rates. If you need to lock time logs before switching to a different billing method, approve them first.
