Before you integrate My Hours and Zapier you need to have an account set up in both apps. Go to the Zapier website to find My Hours Integrations: https://zapier.com/apps/my-hours/integrations

Next, sign in to your Zapier account and find My Hours (via search) in the My Apps tab to connect both apps:

When selecting My Hours, a pop-up window will appear, where you will need to enter your email and password from your My Hours account. This will authenticate your account in Zapier.

When the apps are connected you can test, reconnect, or disconnect them at any time.

Now it’s time to create a Zap 😊. First, choose an app. Open Zapier and click on the 'Make a Zap' button. Find the app you want to integrate with My Hours, in this case, we are going to integrate My Hours and Zoom.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • The integration works both ways, you can automate your workflow from My Hours to another app and vice versa.

  • Only My Hours account owners and administrators can create Zaps.

  • When you create a Zap it applies to the entire My Hours account.

Pick one of the possible events from the selected app that will trigger the Zap.

Next, you must choose an account. Sign in to the app you selected in the first step.

Customize your Event. Specify the type of the event by choosing one of the options in the drop-down menu.

Now you've finished the first part of the Zap. Zapier automatically finds your data.

For the second part, choose the second app you wish to connect. We've chosen My Hours as the second app for this example.

Choose between a number of events in My Hours that correspond with the event from the first part.

Next, sign into My Hours. Find your My Hours account in the drop-down menu.

Then, customize My Hours Event. Fill out all the details for the selected event.

  • 'Date' field is required and you will not be able to proceed if you don’t fill it out.

  • In the case of a Time Log Event, you also need to set a 'Duration' or a 'Start/End Time'.

Lastly, you test the Zap. If you've set it up correctly the test will be successful and you can turn on the Zap.
