Follow the steps below to enable users with matching usernames (emails) in My Hours and Azure AD (Office 365) to sign in by clicking 'Sign in with Microsoft' without setting a password in My Hours.

Please note:

  • Users must be manually added or removed from My Hours. If you remove or add a user in Azure AD they will not be automatically removed/added to My Hours.

  • Allowing users to log in via SSO will not prevent them from logging in with the username and password set in My Hours. *** If you would like for the users to sign in exclusively via SSO, please contact us and we can arrange this.

Setup

  1. Add an Azure AD admin user to Spica My Hours.

  2. When the admin user tries to sign in via SSO, they will receive a request for “Spica Time and Space 360 Level Zero” to access their Azure AD

3. Ensure only “Users.Read” is selected on the “Spica Time and Space 360 Level Zero” application:

This completes the setup and your users can sign in following the instructions below.

Sign-in process

Users can sign in by clicking 'Sign in with Microsoft' without setting a password in My Hours.

If prompted, select “Sign in to an organization” and enter your organization’s domain.

Complete the sign-in with your Microsoft credentials and you will be signed into My Hours as well.

If you have any questions, please contact us via chat or at [email protected].
